Western North Carolina Clean Energy Business Incubator will Promote Local Economy
Washington, D.C. – Representative Heath Shuler will join Asheville-Buncombe
Technical Community College to announce tomorrow morning that he has secured a
federal appropriation of over $350,000 for the creation of the Western North Carolina
Clean Energy Business Incubator.
Rep. Shuler secured the funding in the Fiscal Year 2008 Omnibus Appropriations Act.
The Clean Energy Business Incubator will help attract “anchor” businesses and form a
clean energy cluster.
Rep. Shuler will tour the existing Small Business Incubator prior to the announcement.
