Shuler on the passing of former North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Jim Long.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of former Insurance Commissioner Jim Long. My
thoughts and prayers are with his family. Jim was a fine public servant and an even better
person. It was an honor to get to know him over the past few years. His commitment to
helping the people of North Carolina will not be forgotten.”
